Developing the Ofbiz brand was a challenge. Unfortunately free or open software isn't always associated with a level of corporate professionalism. The result was stylish, yet approachable allowing the viewer to feel welcome. 

The re-design of the Ofbiz pages resulted in a modern and uncluttered look, conveying important messages while showing that Ofbiz is "open for business".

The Ofbiz distribution is a complex system with many details. Notice however that the complexity is compartmentalized and does not distract from navigation.

Consistency is vital in the user experience. Notice that the base navigation is always present. Also, notice the "Download" button present on most pages, keeping the main purpose of the site--distribution of Ofbiz--always in view.
